Description
This Serenade is a Lied that was published a few months after Schubert’s death. It was one of the last things he ever wrote. It is a short story of a person wishing to be loved by another. You can feel two different things, yearning and hope. They shift back and forth. In this arrangement Harp 1 and Harp 2 are best played on a pedal harp. Harp 3 can be played on a lever harp as well as a pedal harp, with some lever or pedal changes. Performance time for Serenade is three minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, and Third Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the three parts together.
