Description
This intriguing arrangement comes from a work by Frederick William Taylor, a nineteenth century English composer. Harp 1, 2, and 3 are best played on pedal harp, while Harp 4 can be played on lever harp as well as pedal harp. This flowing dance, written in 6/8 time, has some very interesting melodies and counter melodies in each of the four harp parts. It starts in A minor, goes to F major, and then back again to A minor. Performance time for Dancing in the Twilight is four and a half minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, Third Harp, and Fourth Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the four parts together.
