Description
Gaetano Braga’s beautiful La Serenata or Angel Serenade has been enjoyed as a cello solo as well as a vocal solo. In this arrangement, Harp 1 and Harp 2 are best played on pedal harp, while Harp 3, which contains no accidentals, can be played on lever harp as well as pedal harp. The words of the song describe, the story of a young girl telling her mother that she is hearing an angel’s voice calling to her, and wants to follow the voice; which she does at the song’s end. Performance time for Angel Serenade is about five and a half minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, and Third Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the three parts together.
