Description
An original composition for three harps by Shari Pack, Summer Breeze was written to feature chordal glissandos. If playing this piece with lever harps, each part requires a different lever harp tuning: Harp 1 requires one flat, Key of F, E-sharp and A-sharp levers up. Harp 2 requires two flats, Key of B-flat, D-sharp and A-sharp levers up. Harp 3 requires no flats, Key of C, B-sharp and E-sharp levers up. There are no lever changes for Harps 1 and 2, once the levers are set. In Harp 3 there is one lever change, F-sharp in measure 52 to F-natural in measure 72. This is a fun piece for pedal harps, too. The performance time for Summer Breeze is about four minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, and Third Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the three parts together.
