Description
Charles Hunter has written two rags that are fun to play and to hear. His first rag, Tickled to Death, was published in 1899 when he was 23 years old. His final rag, Back to Life, was published in 1905, shortly before his death. Harp 1 and Harp 2 are better played on pedal harps. Harp 3 has no chromatics and could be played on a lever harp as well as a pedal harp. There are some sophisticated rhythmic patterns in the rags that really add to the fun. The performance time for Two Hunter Rags is about five minutes. Each rag takes about two and a half minutes to play.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, and Third Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the three parts together.
