Winter Song

Winter Song comes from the art song, Drift Down, by Sir Landon Ronald, a twentieth century English composer; and is arranged by Shari Pack for two pedal harps and one lever harp together, or three pedal harps.

Drift Down by Sir Landon Ronald, is the inspiration for Winter Song, and musically describes falling snow.  Snowflakes drift down, as Harp1 plays rolled chords in a descending pattern, and Harps 2 and 3 share an interesting descending melody.  Harps 1 and 2 are best played on a pedal harp, whereas Harp 3 can be played on a lever harp as well as a pedal harp, with a few lever or pedal changes.  Performance time for Winter Song is about three and a half minutes.

The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, and Third Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the three parts together.
