Description
Vienna Woods comes from Tales from the Vienna Woods, an 1868 composition by Johann Strauss. It was one of six Viennese waltzes by Strauss which featured a solo part for zither. The title recalls the folk music of the inhabitants of the Vienna Woods. In this arrangement, Harp 1 is best played on a pedal harp; while Harp 2 and Harp 3 can be played on a lever harp as well as a pedal harp, with no lever or pedal changes in either part, other than the key change from G to C, where ample time is given to make the change. Performance time for Vienna Woods is about four minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, and Third Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the three parts together.
