Description
In this lovely arrangement of The Swan by Camille Saint-Saens, each of the three pedal harp parts takes a turn to play the beautiful melody as well as the unique arpeggio patterns. The Swan is the thirteenth movement of The Carnival of Animals and is the only movement from that work that the composer allowed to be played in public during his lifetime. He thought the remaining movements were too frivolous and would damage his reputation as a serious composer. Performance time for The Swan is about three minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, and Third Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the three parts together.
