Description
In this arrangement from a chorus in The Messiah by G. F. Handel, Harp 1, Harp 2 and Harp 3 are best played on pedal harp. Harp 4 can be played on lever as well as pedal harp with no chromatic changes. This piece features four very definite key and tempo changes. The chorus comes from Part III of The Messiah which concentrates on the resurrection of the dead. The words come from 1 Corinthians: “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” Performance time for Since By Man Came Death is about two minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, Third Harp, and Fourth Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the four parts together.
