Description
Sheep May Safely Graze features Baroque harmonies, a unique melody with a triplet pattern on the second beat, and a counter melody underneath. Bach wrote this piece for the 31st birthday of Duke Christian in 1713. The title refers to the wish that sheep may safely graze when the kind ruler, in this case Duke Christian, governs well. The performance time for this arrangement is about three and a half minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp and Second Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the two parts together.
