Description
In this arrangement, Haydn’s beautiful classical melody is traded back and forth between the parts, and there are glissandos and repeated chords in the accompaniment. Because of the prepared glissandos and the chromatics, Harp 1, 2, and 3 are best played on pedal harp. Harp 4 has no chromatics and can be played on lever harp as well as pedal harp. This melody is also available in Two Harps Together under the title Evening Serenade. Performance time for Serenade for Evening is three and a half minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, Third Harp, and Fourth Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the four parts together.
