Description
Rustic Trio or Ländliches Lied is from a vocal work by Robert Schumann, Op. 29 composed in 1840. The year of song or “Liedenjahr” is highly significant in Schumann’s musical legacy. In that year (1840) he wrote 138 songs, where before he had written only for instruments, especially the piano. In this arrangement Harp 1 and Harp 2 are best played on the pedal harp because of the chromatics. Harp 3 can be played on a lever harp as well as a pedal harp, and there are no chromatics. The performance time for Rustic Trio is three and a half minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, and Third Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the three parts together.
