Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring is a transcription of Johann Sebastian Bach’s famous chorale, and is arranged by Shari Pack for two pedal harps and one lever harp together, or for three pedal harps.

This piece, Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring, or Cantata No. 147 by Bach, is probably the best known of all Baroque pieces.  It is well-loved in church and wedding settings. In this arrangement, Harp 1 and Harp 3 play the famous accompaniment and harmony part and are easiest played on a pedal harp.  Harp 2 plays the famous chorale and could be played on a lever harp as well as a pedal harp.  The performance time for Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring in about three and a half minutes.

The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, and Third Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the three parts together.
