Description
These traditional Irish melodies were collected by Eileen Mulligan of Cork, Ireland; and she used these folk songs in performance and teaching. They are also available for voice and harp in Favorite Folk Songs Volume II, and Two Folk Songs by Eileen Mulligan. In Irish Memories, Harp 1 has chordal glissandos that require a pedal harp. Harps 2 and 3 can be played successfully on a lever harp as well as a pedal harp, as the B-flat lever or pedal is the only change, Key of C to Key of F. Each harp part has the melody for one of the folk songs. The performance time for Irish Memories is about four minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp, Second Harp, and Third Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the three parts together.
