Country Gardens was arranged for piano in 1918 by Percy Grainger and has since become a favorite for orchestras. However, it is an old piece with a version of Country Gardens appearing in the Quaker’s Opera of 1728. In this arrangement each harp part alternates playing melody and accompaniment, There are three lever or pedal changes in Harp 1, one lever or pedal change in Harp 2. The performance time for this enjoyable two harp arrangement is about 2 and a half minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp and Second Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the two parts together.
