Description
In America Sings, Harp 2 plays the melody for America, the Beautiful and Battle Hymn of the Republic, while Harp 1 plays the melody for My Country, ‘Tis of Thee in a soft and reverent setting. The accompaniment for Battle Hymn of the Republic played by Harp 1 is a continuous sixteenth note arpeggio pattern which is challenging and exciting. Written in the Key of C, there are only two lever or pedal changes in each part. The performance time for America Sings is about five and a half minutes.
The arrangement comes with separate copies for First Harp and Second Harp and an Ensemble Copy showing the two parts together.
